In 2022, The Arkadia Trading Card game was officially founded by two long term friends. The Arkadia project was 4 years in the making, prior to its official release. The game focuses on the nostalgia of the late 90's and early 2000's, bringing together artwork and game tactics inspired by its founding trading card game scene. Mixing classic trading card tropes with board game battle tactics, Arkadia was formed over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. With an extensive amount of time spent indoors, the concept of the game brewed. The cards went through multiple play tests and several design iterations, to reach it's current status. The choice to bring this passion project to the world is driven by the shared warmth of my generation's childhood. This game is a homage to our childhood and everything that made it awesome!
